Jaime Anguita

Jaime A. Anguita, PhD., is an Associate Professor at the College of Engineering and Applied Sciences of Universidad de los Andes, Santiago, Chile. His main research areas are Fiber-optics communications, Free-Space Optical (FSO) communications, error-correction coding for FSO, optical vortex beams, optical propagation in turbulence, and channel characterization and modeling. Dr. Anguita founded and directs the Optics and Communications Laboratory at Universidad de los Andes.
