reseña biográfica

El profesor Sebastián Maldonado es Ingeniero Civil Industrial y Doctor en Sistemas de Ingeniería de la Universidad de Chile; grados obtenidos el 2007 y 2011, respectivamente. El profesor Maldonado ingresó al área de Ingeniería Industrial de la Universidad de los Andes el año 2011, y se desempeñó como coordinador del área entre los años 2012 y 2015.

Su área de investigación se relaciona principalmente con el desarrollo de nuevas metodologías de minería de datos y aprendizaje computacional, y la utilización de éstas en aplicaciones de negocios y otras áreas.
